Aluminum wiring in St. Louis-area homes
Homes built between roughly 1965 and 1975 in Florissant, Hazelwood, Ballwin, Manchester, and parts of St. Charles often have aluminum branch-circuit wiring. Aluminum is not inherently dangerous, but the connections at outlets and switches loosen over time and can overheat. We offer full replacement or a CPSC-recognized remediation using proper connectors, which is far less invasive.

How long does it take to rewire a house?
A typical 1,500 to 2,500 square-foot home takes three to seven working days depending on access and how much of the old wiring must be removed. We phase the work so power stays on in most of the home.
Will you have to cut holes in my walls?
Some small access holes are usually necessary, but we minimize them and patch them cleanly. Plaster-and-lath homes get extra care.
